Our
Search for the lioness was a success. We crossed some plains and came
across a rocky area where she was lying in the long grass. We just sat
and watched as she snoozed in the afternoon sun. She rose from her
slumber all of a sudden and walked past our Game Viewer – she was in
stalk mode – eland and wildebeest were her unsuccessful target – we were
hoping for a bit more of action a pounce or a chase but no – she just
lay down and continued to snooze
